We are a Gran Again!
At 4.37 this morning, 30th April, weighing 6lbs 9oz...
...baby Elizabeth, safe into the World!
Mum and Dad very happy.
Kayleigh ridiculously excited and LOUD!!
Gran and Grandpa thrilled. And tired. And glad they don't have a 4 year old for a sleepover every night!
Thank you, everyone! I have just taken Kayleigh home to meet her new sister, and have had my first cuddle of Elizabeth. She is quite something! Most marvellous, tickety-boo and all-roundly excellent!
Still knitting, Olly - still knitting! I am too easily distracted into other things like sewing the 48 lavender bags I have just completed and other such silliness!
Congratulations, two lovely little girls. Think of all the fun things you are going to get up to in the kitchen in the coming years. What are you going to do with all those lavender sachets?!
Thank you, Janice! I think two little girls is lovely, too!
As for the lavender bags, well, a couple have already found new homes as presents and I expect the rest will eventually. I am customising them according to the recipient. And before I know it, this year's crop will be on me and I shall have even more to deal with than last year!
How wonderful, Denise. Congratulations to everyone - the family is growing. Kayleigh will be really excited, (and loud haha).
