Monday Post Number Two - The Flapjack Quiz

Eyes down for the flapjack quiz!

Question 1: Given that flapjacks are the easiest thing in the world to make, how easy did Denise find this simple culinary task this morning when making a batch for her newly health conscious hubby, Andy? Easy peasy/ a bit tricky/ as easy as ironing a shirt with a hedgehog?

Question 2: Flapjacks require 3 tablespoons of golden syrup. Were there 3 tablespoons left in the old jar of syrup or did Denise nearly break her wrist trying to open a new jar? Of course there were 3 tablespoons/ there were 2 tablespoons but Denise made them do/ yes she did and now her arm really hurts

Question 3: When transporting the old and now empty syrup tin to the rubbish bin, how will the lid land on the floor if it falls? Sticky side up/ sticky side down/ sticky side down on Denise's bare foot?

Question 4: How many surfaces will the syrup tin lid come in contact with on its way to the floor?
None/ one/ Denise's hand, shirt and foot and then the side of the bin?

Question 5: Despite careful cleaning, for how many weeks does Denise think she'll be walking over the sticky patch by the bin? None, she did a marvellous job with a J-cloth, boiling water and soda crystals/ 2, if the cats find it and give it a deep clean/ forever?

Question 6: How moreish is uncooked flapjack mix? Not very, it's too sweet and calorific/ very, but the calories don't count when you're standing up and eating it straight from the pan?

Question 7: Does the high sugar content of a flapjack negate the cholesterol reducing effect of the oats? Not according to Delia/ of course it does, you idiot?

Question 8: How overcooked were the flapjacks because Denise wandered off to write another blog post? They were perfectly Nigella/burnt to a crisp/ luckily Denise saved them just in time or she'd have been REALLY annoyed given the hassle they had caused her in their construction?

Answers on a postcard please. The prize was going to be a flapjack but they've all vanished due to a bout of stress-relief binge eating. There's some nice salad leaves in the greenhouse though.
